You can see where this is going, right? I'm a bad blogger. Bad, bad blogger! You'll see some new Halloween cookies, oh, around October 30th ;). {That is *hopefully* a joke.}
In the meantime, how about a few Halloween blasts from the past...

1. Spiderweb cookies: written & visual tutorials
2. Friendly Frankensteins
3. Creepy Coffin cookies
4. Sparkly Candy Corn cookies (with orange-tinted dough!)
What cookies are YOU planning to make this season?

ReplyDeleteI want to thank you for inspiring me to try to do more with cookie decorating. I recently tried to do soccer balls http://crustaceandeviation.blogspot.com/2010/09/day-154.html as my first decorating attempt. and then I made crabs for my sons birthday party.http://thesupperdiaries.blogspot.com/2010/09/crab-salad-and-chicken-salad-sandwiches.html
I wouldn't have even attempted these with out your inspiration.

ReplyDeleteLooking forward to baking some Halloween cookies this year! I just tried your recipes this weekend & baked cookies for my brother's b-day (he doesn't like cake so I thought cookies were a good swap!). I printed out all your directions & followed them to a tee...and everything came out PERFECTLY!!! I'm going to try the spider webs & also some pumpkins. I will send my son to school with some that look like Jack Skellington!
ReplyDeleteActually, I already made some cookies and they are posted on my blog! I made some pumpkin sugar cookies and my always delicious Choco- Peanut-Butter Oatmeal cookies! I used your recipe, Bridget, for the sugar cookies and just added a bit of lemon. They were fantastic! Thank you for the recipe and happy baking everyone! Not sure if I'm allowed to post this so if you need to remove it that's fine. My blog (spaces added)
